  NATURAL COLOR PRODUCT LIST (PARTIAL)

Part I. Natural Colors For beverages and General Foods

Natural Blue Color                                                     

1024-ualg. Natural Blue Color (Photo 1). Liquid. Made with vegetable juice concentrate. Used for icing, pasta, ice cream and other neutral foods. Works in neutral pH only. Powder form that can be used for tablets is also available.

Natural Brown Color

1022-balb. Natural Brown Color (Photo2). Liquid. Made from ammonium-free, sulfur-free caramel. Very stable and can be used in beverages with any pH. Applications: beverage, confectionery, soup, bakery, snack, dairy and other foods.

1023-bapb. Natural Brown Color. Powder. Made from ammonium-free, sulfur-free caramel. Very stable. Applications: instant beverage, instant soup, instant noodles, bakery, snack and other foods. Same color as 1022-balb. Not for ready-to-drink beverages.

Natural Green Color

1025-galg. Natural Green Color (Photo 3). Liquid. Made from vegetable juice concentrate and other natural colors. Used for pasta, ice cream, confectionery and other neutral foods. Works in neutral pH only. Powder form that can be used for tablets is also available.

Natural Orange Color

1011-oalg, Natural Orange Color. An annatto solution. Gold yellow to orange. Stable to heat and light. Used in cheese, bakery, icing, pasta, cereals, confectionery and other foods. Not for acidic beverages. Unlike other annatto solutions from the market, this one does not contain any KOH or NaOH and therefore reduces risks of work-related injury.

1172-oalb, Natural Orange Color. (Photo 4 ). A stabilized annatto solution made with our exclusive cutting edge technology. A substitute for FD&C Yellow No. 6.  It is very stable against light, heat and acid (Photo 5). It can be used in beverages at any pH without precipitation. Used as is or in combination with other colors, this color is well suited for orange, mango, melon or peach flavored beverages. Also it is good for candy, cheese, bakery, fruit products, cereals, sea foods, snacks and almost all other foods.

1955oalb Natural Orange Color (Organic Compliant Annatto solution)

An acid stable, organic compliant annatto color solution (our code: 1955oalb natural orange color, Photo 5) has been achieved by our research team. This annatto color is extracted with water, instead of any other solvents. The extracted annatto is then dissolved in water using our proprietary technology. This annatto color solution does not contain any polysorbates, propylene glycol, as they are commonly used elsewhere but against the organic laws.  Being acid stable, this annatto natural orange color can be used in all foods including acidic foods such as fruit products and fermented foods, yogurt, for example. This annatto color is more stable towards light exposure than conventional annatto solution with polysorbates.

1223-oalb, Natural Orange Color. Liquid. Made with natural mixed carotenes. Bright yellow to orange color in beverages (Photo 6). It does not form rings or precipitate in beverages at any pH and is very stable to light, heat and acid. A good substitute for Yellow No. 5.

1298-oalb, Natural Orange Color (paprika Emulsion for beverages).

Another breakthrough from ACRC! This paprika emulsion is readily water-dispersible. It is very stable to light, heat, does not form rings in beverages at any pH. Its attractive and unique red orange color (Photo 7) and its great stability make it very useful in beverage and other foods. Made with supercritical CO2, this emulsion has plain flavor and taste.

1145-oalb, Natural Orange Color (Photo 8, right). A beta-carotene emulsion, a substitute for FD&C Yellow No. 5. Stabilized beta-carotene color with superior stability against light, heat and "ringing". Used in all foods, including beverages, candy, cheese, bakery, fruit products, cereals, sea foods, snacks and others.

1021-oalb, Natural Orange Color (Photo 9, left ). Liquid. Cochineal extract based color with a reddish orange hue in acidic solution. Very stable. Used for peach, mango, or melon flavored beverages.

1278-oapg, Natural Orange Color (Photo 10, right). A spray dried powder of 1223-oalb which is a good substitute for FD&C Yellow No. 5.  Made with our exclusive stabilization and emulsion technology, this beta-carotene color has superior stability against light, heat and acid. This natural yellow-orange powder is readily water dispersible. Application: Beverage, instant beverage, tablets, cheese, candy, bakery, dairy, fruit products, sea foods, salad dressing and many other foods.

1026-oflg, Natural Orange Color. Liquid. Annatto based oil soluble color. Stabilized to heat and light. Typical applications: popcorn, salad dressing, butter, margarine, cheese and other fatty foods.

1019-oflg, Natural Orange Color. Liquid. A stabilized, CO2 extracted paprika color (Hexane-free, non-GMO), oil soluble. Applications include sausage, popcorn, salad dressing, butter, margarine, cheese and other fatty foods.

 

Natural Purple Color

1040-palb, Natural Purple Color. Liquid. A grape juice concentrate. Used for beverages, candies, fruit preparations, jellies, gelatin, yogurt, ice cream and others.

Natural Red Color

1042-ralb, Natural Red Color. (Photo 11, right). Liquid. A blend of black carrot and other vegetable juice concentrates. Used in pH<4 media. Good stability. Good for strawberry, punch and other flavored beverages, candies, jelly, gelatin, salsa, tomato paste, fruit nectar, salad dressing and others.

0045-ralb, Natural Red Color (Photo 11, center). Liquid. Red cabbage juice concentrate. Good stability. Used for cherry, raspberry, strawberry, punch flavored beverages. Also used in fruit preparations, yogurt, salsa, tomato paste, salad dressing and other foods.

0038-ralb, Natural Red Color (Photo 12 ). Liquid. Red radish juice concentrate without aroma in final products. A substitute for FD&C Red No. 40. Can be used in pH up to 6. Good for all beverages. Also used in fruit preparations, yogurt, salsa, tomato paste, salad dressing and other foods.

0046-rapb, Natural Red Color. Powder. Red cabbage juice concentrate. A substitute for FD&C Red No. 3. Used in pH<4 media. Good stability to light, heat and acidity.

1236-ralb, Natural Red Color. Liquid. Purple yam juice concentrate. Stable to light, heat and acidity. Excellent for beverages (Photo 13).

1029-ralg, Natural Red Color. Liquid. A red beet juice concentrate-based red color. Good stability towards light and acid, not stable to heat. Used in ice cream, ice bar, yogurt, hard candy and others.

Natural Yellow Color

1974 yalb Natural Yellow Color (Organic Compliant turmeric solution). Liquid. A substitute for FD&C Yellow No. 5. This is a curcumin (turmeric) solution suitable for organic beverages and foods. The curcumin used to make this solution is extracted with ethyl alcohol, without any other solvents.  Then it is dissolved in water with our proprietary technology, without polysorbates or propylene glycol. In contrast to common turmeric solutions in the market, our 1974yalb turmeric color is very stable to heat and light (Photo 14).

1034-yalg, Natural Yellow Color. Liquid. Water dispersible turmeric preparation. Bright yellow in color. Can be used in dough, icing, pasta, snacks, ice cream, fillings and many other foods.

1035-yapg, Natural Yellow Color. Powder. A substitute for FD&C Yellow No. 5. Turmeric color in powder form. Dust free, non-hygroscopic and readily cold water-dispersible.

1230-yalb, Natural Yellow Color. An emulsion of natural Lutein and other natural carotene mix, extracted from marigold plant, food grade. Liquid.  Bright greenish yellow. Stable to light, heat and acids.  A good substitute for Yellow No 5 and turmeric. No ringing or precipitation in beverages (Photo 15).
